if you’re tired of me talking about my love life i’m sorry you can skip this post 😂 (AND POSSIBLY A SLIGHT MENTION OF NSFW STUFF IM SORRY MY CHILDREN DONT READ) THIS MAN- so as y’all know i’m a senior and he’s a junior. he’s always never really wanted to talk about our future way out and he’s more of an in the moment guy. he’s hinted a few times about the possibility of us being high school sweethearts like my parents and getting married, BUT we’ve been texting rn (doesn’t matter what we’re talking about *ahem* 👀) but he went (and he’s been mentioning this a lot lately anyways) “yeah when we’re both in college *censored bc you’re my children*” and i - 🥺🥺🥺 i’m surprised he still wants us to go as far as possible bc i won’t be at school with him next year i 🥺 both our moms really want us to get married and they haven’t even met yet 😂 anyways, that’s all 😅 quarantine has us wildin y’all 😂

I'm so thankful that my bf and I talk about the future all the time, we dream of getting married summer 2021 after I graduate college, having kids someday and where we'd like to raise them, traveling the world... We're older than you guys so it's a bit different, but it is so much fun to let myself dream about the future, I hope you two live long and happy lives together

I'm all for the date-to-marry thing too, I would never date someone that I could never see myself maybe marrying. We're also both Christian and we're waiting until marriage for... certain things, and it's better this way, it's harder for him to be patient than it is for me lol and we both talk about it fairly openly. Hopefully as James gets older he'll be less hesitant to think about the future, it comes with age and emotional maturity (I'm not saying he's immature but it is a lot harder to imagine settling down when you're 17 than when you're 21). I'm actually the one that's more nervous about the future lol, I come from a pretty broken family and his family is so stable so I'm more nervous about commitment, and both emotional and physical intimacy are terrifying for me, but I'm getting a lot better at trusting him and he's working really hard to be patient and gentle with me. We're really learning how to communicate and be vulnerable (plus I spend HOURS with him every day), dreaming about a future together comes more naturally to him but I'm quickly catching up and I hope that it's the same for your James as he gets a little older
