I had the same problem with first maybe just act like you wanna hang out but stay just friends idk because my crush just blurted it out when we were alone

you have to stay true to your self. if you don’t want to date the guy that likes you, then don’t date him. the best thing is to tell him the truth like this: “I think your an awesome guy, but I don’t think a relationship between us is the best idea.” make sure to say it in an understanding way and DONT be rude. for the second guy, I think you need to think about what’s most important to you. you said that you don’t want to be more than friends with him, so I would just not tell him that you do or did like him. he seems like a really great friend, but if you do find out that he likes you back and you still like him, I’d say to go for a relationship. nothing bad ever comes out of trying. I’ve had a similar experience to this (for my eighth grade dance had my best guy friend and this other guy have a conflict)
