i think you should offer to pay for it to be painted (if you can) and just explain to them your situation.

I think they should be willing to understand if you tell them it didn't turn out how you liked and maybe offer to chip in some to get it painted and definitely help with the process

long story short I told my mum she said “No you’ve only just had it done” and I tried explaining then she kinda cut me off and didn’t give my a chance to speak about it- thanks anyways guys, stay sunny 😭🥵❤️
