what I meant by saying that she did things that gave God praise was that although she wasn't Christian, she supported my faith and actually asked someone to pray for another person!

I didn't see what she did, so I'll assume that you're right about her in this scenario. But this is a chance for you to shine for Jesus, and you can forgive her for whatever she did. The past is the past, there is no point in dwelling on what happened then.

Forgiving her for whatever she did is what God wants you to do. You're just as bad as her if you don't... and yes, the bible does say that. Why can't you just accept that you need to forgive her in order for YOU to shine for Jesus.
