This is beautiful! Thank you so much for entering, I really enjoyed reading this! You’re ability to portray the thoughts of this character is so believable and amazing! I really love the story you created here, the last few lines are super impactful. While I am not extremely experienced in poetry, I would like to still try and offer some constructive feedback as best I can. I think the main thing that I have to say is something that my English teacher really stressed about poetry, which is to make sure you don’t have to much extra words. You have some words that seem to just take up space without having much significance. I think that getting rid of some of those would help your entire piece feel more powerful and focused. Besides from that, I really love this poem and I’m so glad I got to read it! ♥️
