"I would say always follow your heart, and don't just do it for the royalty. in the end, for me, all I want is to be with someone I love. not for royalty, not for money, not for press. for love."

Interviewer: "That's very sweet. How do you feel about the royal family?"

"I feel they are quite amazing, and very kind. they've treated ever single person here with respect, which is grand for this kind of competition."

Interviewer: "Have you met the prince yet?"

“yes, and he is quite lovely.”

Interviewer: "Are you confident that you will win? Can you explain?"

“i’m not going to be one of those girls who knows they will win. i believe in myself, and if i follow my heart, i feel like it will lead me to love, and that necessarily may not be the prince. i’m hoping it is, though.”

Interviewer: "Do you feel intimidated by any Selected?"

“yes, of course, it’s extremely intimidating. but i’m trying my best not to let the others cloud who i am, and who i set out to be.”

Interviewer: "That seems reasonable. Who are your inspirations?"

“my father, for one thing, for he’s been caring for me on his own nearly my whole life. i look up to him, as he is hard working and kind.”
