my school does that with my friend Oliver, he's transgender and the guidance counselor last year called him Oli, but at our graduation from 8th grade, when his name was called for the diploma, the guidance counselor said Emily instead of Oliver…I was so pîssed off. also, his boyfriend and I went to find him after the ceremony and he was crying because he was so upset they called him Emily. I felt so bad.
