Hoping for something is sometimes worth it, and sometimes not. It can make the thing that you're waiting for more exciting when it happens. But if you hope for something that will never happen, it could make you sad or even depressed that it doesn't happen for you or hasn't happened yet. Both sides of Hope can be impactful on you, in both negative and positive ways. You always get both in your life, and the hope you feel for certain things can really shape who you are π
Wow that was long π
Looking up is always better than stressing. Hope is what keeps you going; it's better to hope but have realistic expectations.
Well said, guys! I always love reading through these, and seeing a little piece of each person's perspective.πππ

i feel that if you dont have expectations or very very low ones, you cant be let down. lots of people live like that. it seems... blissful. but i think hoping for things can be good. it means you have something to believe in and to carry you through the bad times. it means you believe in something. not just believing as if it could happen, but MUCH MUCH deeper. like believing. having faith. having roots that keep your soul intact with the world around us. it means we know that we want something. and even if what you hoped doesnt come true, it still does. your dreams, morals, and faith are true. they are real. and you know that you can one day hope for things and have them come true. because you believe in something. and in our universe in today's day and age, that is important. and even somewhat rare. its a quality to hold onto and cherish forever.
