And for my constructive criticism (I'm doing this to everyone so if you don't want it next time just let me know); I think you could add a bit more details to help visualization. I love the way you described the cat part but I think the general details of the scene could be a bit more. But then again, this is probably because I am limiting you to a creation amount of writing so I really don't know much of the story when I go into this...
