Peyton and Ben sat near the back of the boat, while Noa was as far towards the front and she could go. The wind whipped through her dark brown hair and tiny droplets of water landed on her face.
Mylee sat down on one side of the boat, longingly looking at the ocean. Asher sat next to her, cracking occasional jokes. Besides that, there was little conversation.
Mae sighs looking around.
Mylee waved to Mae and motioned for her to come sit with her and Asher.
Peyton looks at the waves rolling in the distance. He looks back at Ben and slowly starts making him rise off of the chair he’s sitting on.
Mae must not have seen her. “I’ll be back,” Mylee said to Asher. She got up and walked over to Noa.
“Hey,” Mylee greeted Noa.
“Hey,” Noa said.

Rosetta sat alone in the corner, lost in her thoughts. She stared at the ocean, watching the gentle motion.
Ben saw Rosetta and walked over to her. “Hey,” he said, sitting next to her.
Uh oh, Rosetta thought. What's Ben gonna think of me now? "Hey," Rosetta said, avoiding eye contact.
She'd been really quiet today. She felt extremely guilty...
She looked over at Mylee's arm, which was covered in scratches from the vines.
“You okay after...that?”
Rosetta sighed and looked down at her lap. "I guess...I just feel really bad," she replied.
“That’s okay,” Ben said, grabbing her hand, “It wasn’t your fault.”

Rosetta smiled weakly at Ben, thankful for his support but still thinking about what happened.

Mylee laughed and watched Asher stuff chips into his mouth. Her hair started to blow in the wind as the ship moved.
"Who's there?" she asked, standing up and looking around.
“Hey Naiyla,” Kassian said, blushing.

Naiyla decides to exercise because you can’t give up exercising ever if you are her. She decides to do some push ups.
“I don’t really know everyone,” Peyton replied, “still, though. I especially don’t want to fight Noa or Ben. I’ve been friends with them for so long that we’re more like siblings. Plus, they scare me.”
She then started running laps around the boat at top speed.
Noa glanced at Naiyla as she ran past.
Mylee laughed. “That makes sense.”
“You have the same powers as Ben, right? Fire?,” Peyton asked.
“Yeah. Does that make me scary now?” she teased.
“I guess,” Peyton replied, laughing, “Why, do you think you’re scary?”
“I can be at times I guess.”
“I wouldn’t be surprised,” Peyton said. He looked into her eyes. They were beautiful, a thousand colors shining in them. They burned with a flame that could’ve made anyone back down if it burned bright enough.

The boat slows in a small bay on an uninhabited island. The water is clear blue and the day is perfect. Noa hops over the side of the boat, already in her swimsuit. Peyton and Ben follow her.
Naiyla will still tanning on the boat, but Carson snuck off the boat while invisible.
Ben splashed Noa. She raised her eyebrows and dumped water on him using her powers. Peyton stood behind him, laughing. Then, Noa dumped water in him.
Eventually Naiyla got up and got dressed and went off the boat to tan some more. I know right😂
Almost everyone was off the boat.
Carson came up to Naiyla but Naiyla walked away.
Noa looked at the boat. “Um, guys?,” she said, tapping Ben on the shoulder. “The boat is leaving.”
