ivy is an orphan and doesn't know where her parents live/ cuz they left her at an orphanage when she was younger. so Voldemort threatens her with her parents dèàth if she doesn't join his side. so she is Voldemorts spy and she works for him until the battle of hogwarts when she realizes that her parents don't care about her if they just left her. so she rejoins the good side
