Yeah, I was so scared of relationships for a really long time (the short explanations are my parents' messy divorce and my dad and stepmom fighting a lot), and only recently have I started to be okay with the idea of maybe dating someday, but now I have so many friends who are engaged or in serious relationships and they're so happy and lovey and it make me feel like I'm missing something. But I know I'm not missing anything, and I'm only going to hurt myself thinking that way. I am happy without a relationship, I just have to remind myself sometimes
