love this !

so, yesterday I went to a Magic Giant and American Authors concert. Both bands were playing together in a combined set for two hours straight and I really could not have prepared myself for how much fun that was going to be. Both bands were amazing at getting the audience to interact and came into the audience multiple times, and each time happened to be by me. At every Magic Giant concert, they go into the middle of the audience to sing an acoustic song and this time I was right next to them. Literally meaning my face was less than I foot away from theirs. It was absolutely unreal. Small concerts can be pretty amazing things if you find the right bands. Moving on to today, I got one of the biggest surprises of my life. I don’t know if you guys read/remember my post about how my rowing coach was moving and I never got to say goodbye, but this relates to that. I had an indoor rowing competition today and my old coach came across the country to come and surprise my team. It was a super emotional moment for all of us, and many many years were shed. Most of us, myself included, thought that we would never see him again. It was so amazing to be able to see him again. He was/is one of the most important people in my life and I really can’t believe I got to see him again, even if it was only for a few hours. Ah, I’m happier than I’ve been in a long time. And I’m so so grateful. ✨ hope you all are doing well 💕
