We had a student council (basically a few kids from each grade who helped with fundraising and stuff) and I was on it one year; one of our "assignments" was to sell as many smencils as possible to other students. The teachers who helped with student council gave each kid who was a part of it a bag of smencils and a pouch to collect money in. I remember bringing all the smencils home with me and just buying a bunch of the scents I wanted before other people could buy them. 😂

This was in middle school by the way
