yeah and that's okay, but I wouldn't call it hard-core alternative. U2 is alternative. Like you said. it's that oddball, edgy rebel pop you like.

but it's not! that bothers me. 21 pilots is alternative, so is Panic at the Disco. But Halsey and Melanie Martinez are kind of balancing between pop and alternative. that's a good thing bc then they appeal to people who like pop and people who like alternative. you have to agree though that the songs are dark and sometimes sad. I wouldn't call dollhouse or training wheels "fun" songs.
