Ember walked around in a few halls, before she began lost. “oh great.” she swam around seeing if she could find her way back but she kept leading herself away from the lobby more and more. She finally sat down, giving up.
Finally the speech ends and Serena and Matthew go to meet some peps

Matthew and Serena see Flo, “We haven’t seen you around, are you coming for the tournament?” Serena asked, “I’m Princess Serena,” she smiled. “I’m Prince Matthew,” Matthew added
Zach was looking around when he was pushed by another person, “it’s alright” he said, “I’m Zach” he said giving a slight wave, “and you?”
Ember, lost yelled, “SOMEONE HALP ME IM LOST” her voice echoed through the halls.
“I’m Kaia, Kaia Lacage,” she said, “Are you here for the tournament?”
“Well, good luck,” Matthew said, “Do you need any help?0
“Yep, are you here for the tournament?” Zach asked.
“hello?” ember called, she searched through the halls to find the source of the voice.
Kaia shrugged, “I’m more here for the education, I don’t think I will enter...” Kaia said
“A person who’s a mermaid who has a name.” Ember called back, she smiled to herself.
“of course” Ember said, she swam herself towards a figure who seemed quite far. “Hey” she smiled able to see the figure up close now.

Lunabelle rugged on Ilsae’s hands, trying to make her swim around with her. “Stop that.” Ilsae said, pulling her hands away and swimming away.

Lunabelle rolled her eyes. “Fine, I’ll go explore by myself then!” she grumbled as she swam the opposite direction of her sister.

Lunabelle kept swimming, exploring Waterfire.
Ilsae said quietly, "Now she's gonna get lost in this big, big place..."
Ilsae went after her sister. It was about five minutes before she bumped into Lunabelle. "Hey, watch it!" Lunabelle exclaimed, turning around. Ilsae replied, "Sorry. I thought you might get lost in here, so I went after you."

Lunabelle realized her twin sister was just trying to look after her. She smiled gently and continued swimming. "Last one to the corridor is a broken seashell!" she said, gesturing for Ilsae to come after her. "That'll be you, 'cause we all know I'm faster!" Ilsae replied jokingly. Lunabelle was faster than Ilsae.
When the duo reached the corridor, it turns out Ilsae beat Lunabelle by a sliver. "I didn't see that coming," Lunabelle said.
The two mermaids glided gracefully in the water until they reached the end of the corridor.
Princess Serena and Prince Matthew swam the halls greeting everyone. “This is so stressful...” Serena sighed.
a voice came on the intercom, “Everyone please find your ways to the dinning hall,”
Lunabelle and Ilsae switched the direction of their swimming.
"Oh good. I'm hungry," Lunabelle commented, rubbing her stomach.
"You eat all day, you fat shark," Ilsae teased, while pushing her sister playfully.
"Oh you shush!" Lunabelle said back, annoyed. "Just because YOU'RE two minutes older doesn't mean you have to be such a BRAT! It could've been the opposite way, y'know,"
lily and rose swam into an empty classroom “Mum expects us 2 to get all of the homework answers correct when it’s the 1st day of school!” lily sighed
Ilsae rolled her eyes. It wasn't the first time she heard that excuse from her sister.
“cmon rose, we have to make some new frens or else we’ll be lonely” lily said as she pulls her sister up
"Well, it's not the opposite way, remember? I'm still the older sister." Ilsae said, hoping that comment would finish the argument.

Princess Serena and Prince Matthew take their place at the end of the table while Kaia and Noah sit close to the middle.

Ilsae put a small portion of food on her plate, trying to look polite and stuff. Lunabelle on the other hand scooped a whole bunch of everything. "Do you plan on finishing that?" Ilsae said to Lunabelle. Lunabelle looked over at Ilsae, mouth already full, and nodded.
Prince Matthew dished some of food on his plate while Serena was bored. Her friend Veronica wasn’t here, and she was suppose to be “regal”

Ilsae shyly pushed around her food, looking around at all the merpeople here. She was going to have to get used to these faces anyway, if they don't get eliminated, that is.

I mean, YOU don't need to worry because it just comes so natural to you but for me, meeting new people is hard and what if I don't have a friend I can rely on when I need one?" she said, and realized this conversation was getting really deep. Serena whipped around as both of them pulled out of a crossbow, “Reveal yourself!” Veronica shouted with a glint in her eye.
“You were just what?” Veronica interrogated. Serena wasn’t even suppose to have a crossbow, so she stayed quiet.
“Chenoa...” Serena hissed, “You could of just asked,” Serena shrugged with half a smile. Veronica just stare at Serena, “Low profile?” she asked, “That was your idea, may I remind you,” Serena shrugged, “Well I have a bounty hunter as a best friend...”she said trailing off.

“I wonder if there’s going to be anything interesting in this one,” Veronica stated. “The last few ones have been pretty boring...”
“Treasure, Weapons, Maps...” Serena said. “Oh and- Never mind...” Veronica said, remembering a horrific event.

Veronica had already disarmed three and Serena had undone two, “V! I found a necklace,” she whispered.
Harper put her long, dark hair into a tight ponytail and began to swim laps to strengthen her tail. It glistened in the light, occasionally distracting her from her swim. She looked focused and felt as if nothing could stop her. (there we go folks)
Then she saw Serena and some others leave somewhere, so she followed them. (pretend I said this awhile ago😂)
Veronica nodded as she started to sing softly to open a trunk. Her tribe was one of the best tribes to know how to song cast which was something most other Mers couldn’t do without lot’s of training. “What did you find?” Serena asked. “Arrows and more gold and stuff,” Veronica shrugged
*Her tribe was one of the only groups of people who had the power to be able to song cast w/out years and years of training.

Serena shot a vase which disarmed another trap. She found a mirror that was glowing. “CHENOA! V! COME HERE!”she yelled at her friend. “Hello? Hello?” The mirror asked.

Veronica rushed after Serena, “The mirror...there’s someone in here,” Serena said as the mirror started glowing even brighter
“Hold on and everyone stand back!” Veronica demanded as she started to sing. A silouhette of a figure started to show up.
The figure was blonde and had bright blue eyes. “Thank you!” the girl said giving Veronica, Serena, Ben, and Ara a hug. “You’ve freed me!” Serena was taken back. This girl had legs, but she wasn’t drowning. She was literally walking on the ocean floor.
“And now that you’ve freed me. I’m going to have to kill you,” the girl glowered as she pulled out a gun. Veronica just smirked and did an armlock to the girl before putting her into a scarflock. She sang something into her ear as the girl fell to the ground. “Well that’s enough exploring for today,” Serena said, as Veronica started dragging the girl.
Harper hadn’t seen where everyone had gone, so she was alone in the shipwreck. She had no clue that they were leaving.
She sang something and multiple chests blew open. She searched them all. Nothing seemed too valuable, so she left most of it. She did find a small necklace though. It had a silver wave charm on it.
She put the necklace on and hid it. Then she walked out of the shipwreck and followed the others.
“Uh...Yeah. That would be nice,” Veronica said. Serena was in the middle of her thoughts as a royal guard came up to them. “Princess Serena, Chenoa, Miss Ara, Mr. Ben, and Miss Harper! Yes, I see you there Miss Harper. You were requested to be escorted back to the castle...well mainly you Princess Serena and your father is here Chenoa.” Serena and Veronica stared at each other...they were in a lot of trouble.
Harper nodded unsurely. She turned towards Serena and Veronica. There was a look of panic on their faces.
Finally Veronica spoke up, “So...why is my father here?” she asked. “He’s here for your research. Someone found it and thought it deserved to be turned in.” the guard said as he lead the five to a private room. Veronica was surprised he didn’t notice the body. “But that’s personal property.” Serena said.
Harper followed the group into the castle, wondering what Serena and Veronica could have done. She took her hair out of a ponytail to help relief the headache she was getting. The rest of the time she played with the necklace she had found in the shipwreck and worried about what was about to happen.
“Yes, but you have found multiple pieces of treasure after all your years of shipwreck exploring.” Veronica tried to keep a straight face. It had always been her and Serena and they had kept a secret for more than a decade...”Princess, the rules obviously say that any treasure you find must be turned into the government.” Serena waited for Veronica’s answer because she was normally the one who got them out of trouble. “Yes, but those wrecks were on tribal grounds. My father is the leader and it clearly states that if we find treasure we keep it,” she growled at the guard. “Well there’s been a new development,” the guard said as he opened the doors where the King, Queen, and Veronica’s Dad waited
Harper suddenly tucked her necklace underneath her shirt. “I’ll be right back, I think I dropped something,” she said as she darted back towards the shipwreck. When she got there, she threw the necklace inside and quickly swam back.
“Hello, girls and students of Waterfire,” the king said. Veronica still seemed like extremely irritated. “Because of a new mystery, we need all of the treasure found on tribal grounds or on our grounds. Without it, we can be in grave danger.” the king said sternly. “Yes Serena, we know you and Chenoa have been sneaking out thanks to an anonymous source. You’re in a lot of trouble. (I really am tempted to write a book about the adventures of Serena and Veronica. I’m already writing a book with them in it, but it’s not focused on them. I just want to see how much trouble they got into...😂😂)
Harper looked at Ara and mouthed, “Hide it,” as she looked at the shell.
Veronica huffed before throwing the tailess girl onto the large desk.
Harper looked at her neck. She was shocked. The necklace had reappeared on her neck. She quickly removed it and put it on the table.
“We’ll be right back to get everything else.” Serena said, with a look of guilt on her face. Now, was she really guilty? Hardly. Veronica swam after her. “Alright, we’ll keep some of the papers, but burn the other ones. We’ll give up all the gold and useless stuff, but we have to save the necklace we have, the mirror, and the notebook,” Veronica said as Serena began to haul in what seemed like thousands of treasure chests.
Harper angrily clenched her fist as the swam out. She sighed and went along with the others.

“There.” Veronica said. “Now may we go now?” she asked. The Queen wasn’t sure how much she trusted her daughter and her best friend after all the times they snuck out, but she dismissed them anyways
Harper started to move a chest when suddenly, the necklace appeared on her neck AGAIN. She gasped, but then got back to work and put the necklace on a chest.

(my family friends and some of my family (plus my dad who is not always home because of work) came into town for a few days and today they had to leave and me and my sister almost started crying)
