My tree Shadow was chopped down today. I'm crying right now, that tree has been a part of my life. Shadow has a been my family. She meant a lot to me, she showed me that I could (continued in comments)
I could make it through all the dark days, the winters, the strong winds, the storms without falling. I was so sad when my mom told me we had to cut Shadow down because I've known her as a friend for as long as I can remember. I've had a really long day too, I came home and no more Shadow. The environment means so much to me and it was really hard for me. I didn't realize how much I actually loved Shadow until she was gone. A lot of good memories, laughing, crying my life seems wrong without her. I'm just so glad that Shadow got to be loved. Loved by a little girl and loved by a reckless girl who just gave everything a go and I'm so happy I treated her right but I didn't realize how truly important she was until now.
