*hugs* please don’t harm yourself fren, it’s not worth it💜I don’t know how to help with anxiety and I’m sorry😓but I do understand with the self-harm thing, I just use to nails to scratch myself when I get extremely stressed though, and I have a terrible habit of picking at my skin. but please don’t hurt yourself, it doesn’t seem like it but it will get better💜💜

I have a friend on swim team (am I part of one as well) who went through a stage of her life, having huge anxiety attacks while swimming creating breathing issues. the reason I say this is to one day you are not alone, two she is much better and three, if you need anything I am here

anxiety is the actual worst thing ever. GAH! tbh, I don’t really know what to say to make things better, but that caption is kinda life so... yeah.
no but seriously, that is a really horrible situation. sometimes I get panic attacks and then I can’t breathe easily (I don’t know if it’s the same for you) but what I do is I kinda take a moment, then breathe in for 4 secs, hold it for 8 secs and breathe out for 7 secs. I do that like three times and apparently it changes something in your brain? it does help to breathe easier. idk, try it
I'm sorry to hear that fren!!!! in swim, maybe take a few moments before and take deep breaths? maybe before you do a set do like easy 50s to help calm down
