Well, to all who ask to what was in the device; It is a radio. We took it apart and replaced it with aluminum and a cd chip with a thermometer. When something in the air changes, the radio turns on and beeps because the thermometer changes causing the chip to become sensitive and therefor allows the radio to work as a paranormal device. It's really interesting actually.
