All of the posts I used will also be in the remixes. I’ve spent a few days trying to process everything that has been going on. I am sad, angry, ashamed, and disgusted. All of this systemic racism and violence needs to stop. I saw a post that read “racism is not coming back, it’s just now getting filmed”. If these videos never surfaced the media, the injustice will continue. We can’t change what has happened, but we can take action. Don’t let yourself sit in silence while injustice continues. They deserve better. They need justice. I’m proud to be in a generation who doesn’t let their voice go unheard, where people are not afraid to speak their mind and fight for change. I know this post won’t change the world, but I hope it can spread awareness to a problem that is still happening constantly over the years. Peace in the world starts with change in us.
