yo the same thing happens with me,,, like i’ll write a ton of cool lyrics but when i try to set them with a melody or smth it just sounds wrong??? and vice versa... it’s really annoying sometimes ahhaha

advice tho: work on the sound part when you’re tired and it’s night time. our brains are the most creative when we’re tired. just go on the piano and play around with sounds until you find a pattern that you start liking and work from there.
