what you've said in your caption is actually true, I read somewhere that because you have lived less, years seem longer because it is more of a fraction of your life (if that makes sense, I'm not wording this very well) so for a 6 year old, a year would be 1/6 of their life, but for a 25 year old, a year would be 1/25 of their life
