I can remember the day I first joined PC around --four? God.-- years ago and your account was the first I followed. I'm still impressed with each post. Do you have any particular authors or books that you reread and reread since they're so well written, not just for the story's sake, but to study them? When I was younger, it was The Apothecary. Then The Book Thief. Now I learn from Laurie Halse Anderson, and from Sylvia Plath and Mark Twain among other classics. You are high and poking the moon on that list. What you make is outstanding. There's definitely Niven and Nelson influences among others, but I might enjoy yours more. I enjoy all the creations you conjure here and get something from every blurb. Not just posts, though, but you, as a person. You have such kindness and integrity. So, thanks, Astrid. Where would we be without your talent-packed and virtuous influence? PC would be an unfamiliar city. A round of applause for The Great Astrid Saenz.
