Make to Female? a way to respect a trans person is to not label them as transgender. don't say to someone she's a girl but she was born a boy because a lot of trans people get offended by this bc why should their birth gender matter.

you could start by respecting her pronouns her/she it will be hard a few slip ups will be completely normal she will understand at least your making the effort to try

I'd say the best thing to do is to let her know you here for her support and you want to be with her during her transition
