ok. so basically the phone can't do anything to the battery. the device and the battery are two completely separate things. it's impossible for the phone to damage the battery; the only way for the battery to get damaged is from normal wear and/or if you physically did something to it. do you get it?

the battery can't process those kinds of instructions anyways so it's impossible for the software to break the battery / lock it
