I actually really wanted to do lyrical, (I just like the way it looks, and I’ve got a lot of passion that you can’t really see in other dances unless you know what you’re looking for) and I did. But the teacher didn’t really like me, and I had a lot of those popular dance kids in my class, so of course she favored them, which left no room for me. I quit after that year (lyrical). It’s been four years since then, and the teacher who taught lyrical (mostly) left our studio, I’m a little old to try a new form now. But every now and then, I watch a few video on YouTube and copy them, which I think is pretty fun. I know I shouldn’t let what people think her in my way, but I was an extremely self conscious and low self esteem, person. I still kinda am, but I’m working on it!
if she didn’t think you were good than you obviously weren’t
