I'm not really good at this and trying to find the right words. This sounds like you loved him very much and even though you might not have said it enough, I'm sure he knew. Your bond sounds incredible and it's very understandable that you still miss him so much. I don't know what you believe in, but if he's out there somewhere, I'm sure he's so so proud of you.
