What's wrong with asking? What if I were to say "If people have to ask if you are an atheist, you probably aren't"? My point is, yes our works do show if we are in the faith, but not to everyone, there are some who are blinded and aren't even aware of what a true Christian is supposed to look like, until they ask, and then they understand. 1 Peter 3:15
