so basically for the quote for this, I was inspired by how some americans treated asians who were living in america. because yes, covid-19 started from china, which is in asia. and those who were beaten up majority were elderly because they tend to weaker and can’t protect themselves against these youngsters who beat the asians up. it started in around mid february. it rlly hurts and saddens me that people are blantly blaming asians for starting this pandemic and are just being racist. this isn’t fair at all. it’s literally a pandemic not an endemic EVERYONE IN THIS WHOLE is going thru this together. and if we do it together as one world, then the virus will be “defeated” and our lives will start to be normal again. yes, ALL LIVES MATTER but this collage is just to emphasise on how asians were just picked on a ridiculous statement. tbh, I feel that why we are in this pandemic is because it’s like a punishment for us, humans for being horrible and not listening to mother nature’s cries. this is our punishment so let’s get this pandemic over once and for all. together as one. it’s very common that an artist doesn’t like their own work bc 1. you’ve been working on it for hours on end, you’re probably tired of it and just looking out for all the flaws. 2. it’s bc ur good that you can even spot the little mistakes that make you think you’re doing badly. so honestly, honestly speaking to me ur amazing. to yourself maybe not so much but take it from me and everyone else here that your work is stunning.

And if you’re only gonna continue to please us, please take a break. it might be good for you to just kind of refocus on what you want your account and your collages to look like,, I know that it can be really tough when you want to satisfy others and put out content that they like and change your account to fit their tastes but in the end this is a hobby and this is something you do for fun so I really hope that you can recenter and figure out what it is you want for yourself, and not what others want from you :(

and if this is being stressful and you feel the need to leave for a while, please do. we’re always here waiting with open arms. take a short break and come back, it’s totally fine.

like I took a 1.5 year break and this community was still as kind and great as I left it. if you need a break just go for it okay 😤😤

also just wanna share an analogy I came across while watching fruit basket that honestly hit rly hard to me. (gonna change it a bit for the sake of making it easier to understand) it’s like everyone has a fruit on their back. the person can’t see it, they’ll need someone to point out it to them. point is, it’s hard to see your worth for yourself and often you need a fresh set of eyes to point it out to you. even if you can’t see what’s so good about yourself, we can see it. that’s why we stick around yk?

I just wanna say I totally relate to the losing a lot of friends and not feeling at home in pc anymore bc that’s the exact same reason why I left. pc was becoming kind of painful to me, and if that’s what’s happening to you, please rest. it helps.

Uh so to sUMMARISE we like you, we like your work. we don’t want to see you change for anyone else bc if you were just gonna be a trend follower making collages that the majority like, that’s just not fun yk? we like you for you, we want to see more of YOUR content bc we like your imagination, we like your themes, we like your styles. not anyone else’s, yours. and if you think that this community isn’t doing it for you anymore, leave. don’t stay if it’s making you upset or uncomfortable.
