LET ME REPEAT, A GIRL'S CLOTHES DOES NOT MEAN HER CONSENT TO SÉX!!!! I saw this post on tumblr about a guy complaining that a girl was saying she was a victim of räpè even though she was wearing short clothes. This angers me so much! Why is it just immediately assumed that a girl wants to do the hanky panky if she wears short clothes?

Why do people just immediately assume a girl dresses like that to impress boys?! Believe it or not, girls can dress in short clothes for their self happiness, I think it shows they're happy and confident with the body they have. A male can walk on the street shirtless and sure some people may think it's weird, but most think it's ok and normal for a guy to walk around shirtless.

It's a terrible terrible thing to label someone a ślût, but it's even worse to think that their explosive clothes means they give permission for someone to séxûallÿ assault them. Everyone is an individual and I think that their choice of clothes isn't an indicator of whether they give consent or not, I think their choice of clothes embraces their personality to the world. At the same time to all girls, do be sensible with what you wear and what time of the day and where you are wearing it to. If you are walking through a parking lot late at night with short clothes, make sure you have a jacket with you and some friends around you at the very least because you never know if some crazy creep is going to jump out at you. Thank you to the people who actually took the time to read this, nowadays whenever I say "read comments" I feel no one actually reads them because no one ever replies and I look like I'm talking to myself. But this is one of the more important ones I need to you to read and I'd be grateful if you at least comment that you've read this so I know people are listening to this very important message so I know I've made a bit of an impact

This is totally true and I totally agree with this!!! We need to be sensible in certain situations and use logic, but clothing should be a way for people to express themselves. People shouldn't be categorized by this!
