The pain of the truth is real. That's why I don't label myself as a feminist, but openly say I'm for equality, because that way people don't think of me as a stereotype. 🙄

this needed to be said. I am a feminist, but stereotypes aren't just for girls. I see guys being criticized for everything they do. we need to stop putting labels on everybody. like now religions and races and COMPLETELY unrelated things are stereotypes. so boys aren't lucky. they have it like us.

I'm also a feminist and I completely agree. we can't do anything without getting criticized! people need to stop with the labels. we are just as important as anyone else no matter how we act and people need to respect us and realize that not everyone is perfect! like whatever you freaking like! wear what you wanna wear and play what you wanna play and act how you wanna act and DON'T GET JUDGED FOR IT!

and it's not necessarily men putting stereotypes on us. Girls will judge other girls, and it's really sad

I am a feminist as well, and I read this and I think it is so empowering. I wish people would just stop labeling and start appreciating people's qualities and like them for what they are passionate about. I really don't think that girls get enough credit, because being a girl is really hard on its own. Having someone label you like that just puts an extra pressure on your shoulders, and that's one of the last things a girl wants. Thank you for posting this, I love the message behind it: STOP LABELING, START LIVING. We are only human, and it breaks my heart to see people do this sort of thing. May I repost?
