Well, I know it's not reasonable to want all guns illegal. But I mean I don't think it's reasonable for terrorist suspects to be able to buy guns either. And I guess the word I was looking for there was background checks. So that way, responsible people can still own the guns they adore for some reason, and it would be harder for irresponsible people to get guns. I know that if a criminal really, truly wanted to get a gun, it'd be very difficult to stop them if they had the right connections. But, not every shooter is that driven criminal, and I think it would help if certain people couldn't so easily get a gun.

yes but by that you are saying that no one should be able to own guns. Plus it's far more likely that a criminal is going to do bad things
