*sits down criss cross beside you, my knee touching your leg as I rest our hands against my leg, taking a deep breath as I look out at the view for a moment then over at you*

well.. *thinks for a second* there really isn’t much going on with me in particular, but makai just started kindergarten. you wouldn’t believe how big he’s gotten. and margaux has been the wildest little thing once she learned to walk on her own, so between the two of them and work im busy. content, but busy

*shakes my head a little and gives your hand a light squeeze* it’s okay, i get it. i don’t hold any anger or upset towards you for anything

i’m positive. *nods gently and smiles, giving your hand another soft squeeze* makai does miss you though, he’d love to see you whenever you have time. he’s still a big snuggle bug too, and so it margaux whenever she’s not being a menace. and she has your eyes, by the way. our pretty girl

*smiles a little and nods, chewing on my lip for a second as i reach out to wipe your tear away* i’ve missed us being a little family, too

*moves my hand up to the back of your head carefully, brushing my fingers through your curls for a moment*

*looks back over at you and moves my hand from your hair* you alright?

*shrugs the tiniest bit and keeps my gaze on you* i mean… there’s no harm in trying it and just waiting to see what my response to the thing you wanna do is?

*moves the slightest bit closer to you when you cup my cheek, kissing you back gently*

*kisses you back as you deepen it and blushes, meeting your eyes when you pull back and smiles a little*

*laughs lightly and smiles, squeezing your hand back* you could’ve just done it, the absolute worst that could’ve happened is me pulling away

*looks back out at the view and smiles to myself, relaxing a little more*

*checks my phone to see if my friend has texted anything about the kids before setting my phone back down, looking out at the view*

i meannn…. *laughs a little and shrugs, looking back over at you* i really don’t know what to say either, but not in like.. an awkward way? more like im comfortable with not talking i guess? i don’t know if that makes sense… like i have a lot i want to say or that is on my mind but i don’t know where to begin?

*pulls my phone out and opens my photo album, laughing a little as I hand the phone over to you* almost all of my pictures are of them honestly

*nods and watches as you look at the pictures* mhm, they are aren’t they? pretty babies for sure

*blushes gently and shrugs softly, watching you then glances over to look at the pictures with you*
