yes there can only be one and either way none of those top artists are exactly emo. TØP maybe, but not really Melanie and Halsey

I don't even think TØP is emo, they don't really produce emo music

true. sure their music is emotional in the feeling kind of way but not really in the emo music way, you know?

I prefer the older emo song style. although I like TØP too

and TØP has some emo music, but not much.

I like all these except for Halsey, like, I like her, she's amazing plus her personality is super nice but nah. TØP isn't really emo, it's just super depressing, and for Melanie, the album is literally focused on a mentally ill child. that's not emo. cool style, but it ain't emo.
