here's a tip is you shake your phone ( device thingy or whatever you use ) it'll straighten it and then make it bigger with your finger on the arrow and it should be in the center

re//: I use Picsart and clip the image into a circle when i'm making an icon!!! Or you can use PC as well, there's an icon where you cut an image and you use the circle one and adjust it to where the image you want is center! Does that help??
