hi! I've just started reading the Percy Jackson series (I am on battle of the Labrynth) and I was hoping I can give you some advice on the book to the dance situation :) 1. Bring a purse. however, it might look suspicious or won't fit the book, so then you might want to go with 2. Jacket. If you don't have a jacket or coat with an inside pocket or is thin (book would be visible) or isn't large enough, the. go to 3. Pretend it is a clutch purse and cover it with fabric or paper (not glued down of course, because books are precious beings of all things wonderful in this world and we wouldn't want to ruin it). you can recover it if any body gets suspicious. if the dance is at your own school or house (not sure if it's a house party) then do 4. leave it somewhere easy to get to like a drinking fountain or the bathroom. if all else fails, just sort of walk in with it discreetly by your side. happy reading! :D
