to everyone asking what's happening: my sister studies abroad in Ireland. she went to Paris this weekend because the flights are really cheep. earlier this evening, I had my moms phone while we checked out in FYE at the register. I got a text from her saying that there was a mass bombing in Paris where she had just been

she said she was fine, but she was at the place where the bomb had landed a less than 15 minutes before the bomb did land.

it's just really scary to think that if she had taken a little bit longer sitting on a bench or in a shop, she would be dead. she's my best friend, and it's terrifying to think about

she's ok, uninjured, and back at her hotel with police guarding it. we were all just really shaken up by what had happened, thats why I apologized if I wasn't being myself today.

there's been things that my brother could have almost died bc of like surgeries when he was a little boy but thank god you're sister is safe
