this is the type of aesthetic that I really enjoy seeing collages have. I’m a hœ for faded colours on a retro or vintage styled collage with a grain filter on top to finish it off. To focus on the background first, I like the two-toned ripped paper image behind the central grid of pictures. That detail itself helped transform an otherwise really basic background; it added colour and gave an interesting shape to go behind the square grid. Looking closely, you chose nature-based images for the collection in the middle which fits in with the fairy tale theme. Another nature aspect I see is the single plant in the bottom left corner next to Wendy. It was a great decision to place it there as without it, the area next to the Wendy image would’ve looked oddly empty. Additionally, nature themed images/pngs are beautiful features to include in any collage regardless of theme. Moving on to the focal points of the collage, the Wendy and tinkerbell images are placed perfectly to compliment the surrounding structure of the background images + other pngs/images on the foreground. This might be me reading too deeply into things but it was clever of you to make Wendy the dominant image because the quote states that Peter chose Wendy over tinkerbell. On the other hand, tinkerbell is more subtly placed in between the first two lines of the text where it says “tinkerbell has always been there for Peter”. Whether it was intentional or not, I still find it a great detail that uses symbolism well 💗
