Allison and Jax were standing near the room of the simulations, waiting for their names to be called. Jax was looking around, studying the old worn down building. “Man- the whole world has gone to h***..” // Allison was ignoring her brother and fixing her arrow tips, screwing them on and off, seeing which one she liked better // Marie stood in the back, reading a book and trying not to be noticed.
Livvy walked over to the simulation area she was staring at her phone.|| Liam was already there leaning against the wall patiently.

jax looked over at livvy, wondering if she was even watching where she was going // marie glanced at liam and then went back to her book because she doesn’t socialize // allison continues to fiddle with her arrows while they wait for the guards to come back out
MJ stood and waited for her turn bc I’m so good at rping
three guards came out, clad in all black with knives at their sides. their faces showed no emotion. the one female guard stepped up and grabbed a list from her pocket. “miss bellanre and mr thorn for the simulation.”
Livvy ran into a wall, “gosh darn it.” she muttered. || Liam waved at Marie.
“Alright,” Liam says and walks up to the guard.
jax raised a brow at livvy, “maybe you should start watching where you’re going.”
Mara remained quiet as she walked up the guards. Like the guards, her face showed no emotion either, but her eyes...her eyes were filled with ambition.
“Uh- I was,” Livvy says and uses the wall to regain her balance. “I’m just..very clumsy.”

the guard nodded to liam, “please enter the room. you will be met with three different simulations, you two are not allowed to help each other, understood?”

jax inhaled, “not really the place to have clumsy people.” he said. he eyed her, “so what’s the reason you got picked?”

Mara gave a slight nod of her head. She kept all her weapons sheathed, she wanted to evaluate the situation before. However, she kept her guard up.
“No clue,” Livvy shrugged. “Do you know why?”

jax shrugged and glanced at his sister who was staying out of the conversation. “Heard of the hit lists? Or the hit men- assassins? end of the world?”
marie eyes james, “they kicked you out already?”
“Yeah, kinda.” Livvy says. “What about it?”
jax rolled his eyes, “isn’t it obvious? they recruited us as some kind of lab rats to stop these assassins and the end of the world happening.”
“Oh...I never thought of it, I thought this was some uptight prep school.” Livvy shrugged.

marie raised a brow, but she wasn’t the one to judge. she closed her book and stuck out her hand. “marie.” // jax shook his head, “nope it’s one big experiment is my guess and when they’re done with us they’ll kill us off or something like that in movies. i’m just guessing.”

allison laughs at the girl, “yes. it runs in the family.” she then smiles at the girl in an actual friendly way and walks off. jax shrugs, “i’ve just grown up that way.” // marie smiled back, “um so what’s something about you? why are you here?”

Lyra unties her shoe, ties it back up, and repeats.
Marie shook her head, “No it’s okay.” she laughs and it’s the most innocent laugh because selena gomez ( who i might have a slight crush on ) “nice.”
“Wow,” Livvy laughs, “If the world is ending you might as well enjoy it,” Livvy shrugged
Lyra continues to untie and tie her shoe.
jax tried for a smile, “why enjoy it when it’s just going to end when you finally like it.” // allison trips over lyra // Marie went a shade of red. “it was my laugh??” she was confused.
“hey watch where you’re going!” Lyra yells at the girl.
Livvy frowned, “Life’s like that, unfair you might as well make the best of the situation.” Livvy says quietly

As fast as you can say don’t ever yell at her again, Allison has loaded her bow and had the tip of an arrow pointed at lyras head. she then realized that she wasn’t a threat and lowered her bow // Jax looked at Livvy and then at the ceilings. “Yeah well we won’t be making the best of it here...” // marie eyes james as her face flushes more. “um thanks?” she laughs nervously
Lyra raises an eyebrow at the action. “really?”
“It’s possible to make the best of any situation.” Livvy says, “I mean your not being forced into manual labor.”
jax rolls his eyes but they land on his sister who almost shot a kid. “you’ve got to be kidding me..” he muttered. he then looked back at livvy, “i’m sorry what?” // allison huffs and takes out her arrow from her bow. “sorry.” she mutters, but she wasn’t.
“you better be.” Lyra goes back to tying and untying her shoe.
“Nothing.” Livvy says, “What’s up with her?”
allison frowns, “you’re tying your shoes over and over.” // jax sighs, “that is my unbalanced little sister who saw our own dad murder our own mother. she had a hard childhood. she only ever lets a few people in..”
“so? do you have a problem with that?” Lyra asks.
“Ah, rough childhood, that’s ought to be hard.” Livvy says.
“well it’s seems like a waste of time... like this conversation.” // jax cringed, “yeah..”
“well then...” Lyra takes off her shoe and throws it at Allison.
Livvy leaned against the wall, “How are you handling it?”
Allison grabbed ahold of her dagger and pinned Lyra to the ground with the dagger to her throat. “Do that again and i’ll skin you.” // jax shrugged, “fine.” he lies. “i’m usually just keeping her out of trouble-“ he sees allison attacking lyra and sighs. “like now.”
Livvy looks up at Jax, “It looks like...your always looking after your sister and never have time for your own feelings..” Livvy says.

Liam walks into the hallway.
Lyra narrows her eyes at Allison. she knees Allison in the stomach and flips her over while grabbing the dagger and holding it to her heart. “do that again and I’ll kill you.” ... wow I’m so good at these action scenes
jax ignored livvy, “well when you get my sister to be more welcoming i’ll look into it.” he rushes towards allison and pulls her off lyra.

Mara returned from the simulation and began to sharpen her sword. Not like she used it in the simulation, but it was looking a bit dull and she had nothing better to do with her time.
allison pushes lyra off and spits at her before she was pulled away by jax. “GET OFF YOU OLD MAN-“
Livvy rubs her eyes, “What’s wrong with people these days,” She muttered.

the guard comes out, “can we have livvy and lyra please.”
Lyra walks confidently towards the guard.
Livvy walks up to the guard, “I’m Livvy.”
“please enter the simulation room.”
Mara then sheathed her sword and YeE yeee
i have to go to a funeral showing today and i don’t know if i can handle another one this month
