I think you're missing the point. yeah, people misuse PC a lot (dating, .....other.....things, et cetera) but PC is all about being creative and doing what you love and if you like textures, then you should make them! or if you like to role play, do it! if you just want to make some friends, make some! it's your decision on what to do with this app, just don't hate and don't do anything super inappropriate.
