today’s my first day of work n i’m nervous as h e c k

idk if i explained my job but it’s like this thing where kids go on a journey through the whole story of alice and wonderland and they get to meet the characters. so i am gonna be the white rabbit, but my boss forgot to bring the costume so i’m gonna be the cheshire cat today and i’m a lil terrified bc i was all pumped up to be the white rabbit and now i have to be a completely different character???

if any of y’all are actors you might get this, like i was all prepped in my head to be an anxious but excited mess (the white rabbit) and now i have to be a sly yet kind-ish character (the cheshire cat) so idk i’m just not quite there

i’m sure it’ll be fine, the cheshire cat is my favorite character in alice and wonderland anyway so that’s exciting

I get it, it takes a few days to get into character and have everything set up in your head. it’s happened in our theater but luckily never to me
