Kamri boarded the plane- her hair half up, a book in one hand, and earbuds in her ears- she was prepared to be relaxed. She took her seat as she flipped open her book.
Vee hums softly as she puts her suitcase into the overhead compartment above her seat.
Because I was kicked at full force because a person missed the target and now there’s a giant bruise.
Finn looked at his ticket again, and sat down near the middle. He set his carry-on on the overhead, and his knapsack under his chair. hopefully this trip to the island would be a nice relaxing time to celebrate the end of college.
talis made his way down the aisle, knocking into people as he went. “sorry!” he said, as he shuffled his way into his seat, and plopped down.

Vee saw a girl take a seat behind her and smiled at her before sitting in her own seat.

flair stumbled her way down the aisle, her hair falling in front of her face as she took a seat. she glanced around, and put her carry-on in the overhead compartment.
Finn looked up slightly as a girl sat down next to him. she was talking to herself about heights, hopefully she didn’t throw up on him. he bit the edge of his nail and subtly moved to the pârt of his chair closer to the aisle.
Vee wiggled around uncomfortably in her seat.

Vee lightly kicks the seat in front of her as it reclines into the small amount of leg space that she has.

“take off will begin in five minutes, blah blah blah.” The pilot announces as the flight attendants start doing the safety stuff.
Finn glances suspiciously at Taylor and sits there awkwardly.

Vee waits quietly for take off. She looks past Talis out of the window.
Silena glanced at Kamri before looking out the window.
“Kamri. that’s a cool name,” flair nodded, and followed her glance towards the window. “we’ll be in the air soon,” flair shuddered at the thought. she looked at Dustin who sat next to her, “Hey,” she gave a warm smile.
Finn skips past a song on the playlist and looks around the cabin, not bothering to watch the safety procedures he could know by heart now.
“Please buckle your seat belts and turn off all electronics, we will be taking off shortly.” One of the flight attendants said.
Finn looks at Taylor and smiles half heartedly. “I’m Finnegan, or Finn” he answers. “and you?”
talis smiled at vee, he looked down, and then looked back up. “hi.” he said stupidly.
Vee, being the good rule following child she is, buckled her seatbelt.

gwen sat down and tapped taylor’s shoulder. “it’ll be fine,” she smiled. “it’s not that scary once you’re in the air.”
Vee holds onto the armrests tightly as the plane accelerates upward.
Leven puts in earbuds and selects a movie to watch. He chooses The Maze Runner: The Death Cure and settles back to watch.
he wakes up randomly and blinks his eyes open, looks around, and goes back to sleep.
Finn takes a piece of mint. gum out of his pocket, a trick he had learned from his dad to acclimate to the pressure change.
Flight attendants walk up and down the aisle.
talis felt the kicks behind his seat,and peered behind at Taylor, “don’t worry. it’ll be alright,” he said, turning back around at vee. “that just be why you aren’t so uh freaked out as the rest of us.” talis smiled, as he watched the plane fly up, he gripped the armrests tightly.
Silena looks over at Kamri. “What book is that?” she asks.
Vee decides it’s time to get comfy and takes a fluffy blanket out of the bag that sits at her feet.

flair peered over Dustin, at the window, she watched as the plane soared into the air. she closed her eyes, and waited for the loud noise to be over.
gwen nodded. “yeah! see, it’s not so bad. it’s especially cool if you look out the window,” she said, peering out.

“I used to be scared, but I guess I got used to it.” She shrugged. “It’s really not bad, I kinda like flying.”
Finn closed his eyes. he loved the feeling of flying, and the loud noises from the plane were bearable.
Ro takes out her phone and texts Vee. Vee wouldn’t have her number, but Ro did. “I see you. Why are you here?” she texts and sends the message, waiting for Vee to get a text from an unknown number.

Flight attendants continued to walk.

talis laughed, he peered out the window. “it’s just.. clouds. big puffy clouds.” talis looked at the clouds, “it looks like cotton candy.” talis laughed, as he leaned into his chair.
“It’s my favorite series. But why it hasn’t been made into movies, I don’t know,” Silena said and sighed.
The flight attendant haded Finn a fancy bottle of water from her cart.

Kamri bookmarked her book because folding a page is just wrong. “Really? Me too,” Kamri smiled, “It’s not as popular as it should be. I was going to read all of them on the plane ride, so I brought all of them,” (I reread all of them over break so I’m kind of really into them rn)

Finn pulls down the mini table from the seat in front of him and sets his water down on it. he also puts his pack of gum and a portable charger on it.
