Kane smiled and Kale barked from the bedroom which he somehow got trapped in.

Kane nods then gets up and reorganizes the living room as he does every time he is stressed about something

cal looks at kane anxiously before heading out of the apartment so kale can go pee.

Kane waits for cal to get back and in the meantime pulls up the messages again, blocking the number and deleting it from his phone.

as kale relieves himself, cal looks around to see a red sports car, his uncle’s. “cmon kale hurry up!” the pup takes forever to take a shtt and when he finishes his business, cal can see the distant silhouette of his uncle approaching them. he grabs kale and the race up to the apartment, cal slamming the door and locking the door behind him.

Kane jumps, startled by cal at first. “what’s wrong?” a concerned expression clouded his face

my friend and I just had a whole conversation about dumb blonde jokes (we’re both blonde) and I was laughing at them while she was saying they were stupid. which they are but they’re still a little funny

cal shakes his head, knowing his uncle is persistent. “weapons, grab a weapon.” // uncle glen ripped the door off of its hinges using a crowbar. flanking his left and right were to other dealers cal had seen around before. “i told you i’d pull up if i saw you with this cracker boy!” (<very sorry if you are offended) uncle glen laughs and the dealers on the side snicker along. “looks we’ll be requesting clean up in isle five!” he busts down the dresser that was barricading the door before them.

Kane grips cals arm stepping in front of him. “under the bed. there’s a gun” he said quietly so only cal could hear.

cal nodded and slipped away to the bedroom, he reached for the gun, but his arms were too short. glancing around he found a broom and swept the hand gun out.

the dealers walk menacingly towards kane, “we just got out of prison and word on the street is you’re a wanted man,” they snicker as if they know something kane doesn’t.

Kane stands still, letting them get closer without him backing up. he doesn’t want to show weakness

they surround kane while uncle glen rummages around the apartment looking for money, drugs, anything. “don’t play the tough guy act with us, pxssy!” the dealer on the right jumps forward menacingly as if he was about to attack kane. // cal stays silent behind the corner, he cccks the gun causing a loud clicking noise and exposing his hiding spot, “damit..”

Kane hears cal and jumps forward kicking one of his men in the shin causing a shift in the formation surrounding him which provides an opportunity to get out of the circle and on the other side of the guys

cal jumps out from behind the corner and points his gun at the guy who wasn’t kicked down, “what’s going on uncle glen? why are you here?” he practically spat the words

uncle glen turned around, holding a bundle of cash he found in a box under the sink, “you know why i’m here son, i can’t believe you didn’t tell your..” he looks kane up and down disapprovingly, “boytoy.” he laughs and goes back to rummaging around the apartment. he makes a hand signal and the two goons nod and pull out their shanks.

Kane clenches his jaw. he doesn’t know how to get these bxstards to leave

cal moves closer to kane and nudges him, “put your back against mine,,” he hands him his own shank, which he had grabbed in the bedroom. one of the dealers lunges forward nd cal hits his head with the bxtt of his gun knocking him out.

Kane grips the weapon and changes his stance. he noticed one of the guys take a step towards him which was unfortunate for him. Kane knocked him in the shin (his favorite move😂) and brought his knee up to his stomach as he fell down.

cal widens his stance, nodding at kane to advance on his uncle as his back is turned to them, the man kane shinned (<really totally very not a word) grabbed at cal’s ankle, causing him to fall to the ground with an oof. // uncle glen whips around holding a cccked gun at cal, he shifts position and points the weapon at kane, “you’re lucky my client wants you alive, tsk tsk.” he chuckles.

Kane glares at his uncle and looked at cal as he was now laying on the ground behind him. “fine, you got me” he slowly stood up raising his hands up creating a distraction. “now leave cal alone and just take me”

cal sits up shaking his head, “kane you don’t ha-“ uncle glen points the gun at cal to shut him up. // “a smart boy i see,” uncle glen laughs and walks up to kane, grabbing his arm. “i except to see you at home in time for dinner,” glen smiles and waves as he aggressively leads kane out of the busted down door of the apartment leaving behind cal with the goons.

Kane didn’t go easily but he didn’t exactly put up a fight either. “who are you taking me to” his voice rang with hatred.

“oh you know who,” uncle glen kicked kane into the back of his red corvette.

“...w-what’s gonna happen to cal” he said quietly

“oh i wouldn’t be worried about cal right now!” he laughed and pulled out of the parking lot heading over to an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town.

“where are you taking me?” kane asked trying to get a baring on his location as he looked out the window and recognized a few buildings

cal rushes to the window and cursing under his breath as the corvette pulls away.

uncle glen stops the engine and points the gun at kane, “step out of the car.” he takes the safety off, “you aren’t precious enough cargo that i can’t skin you with a bullet or two.”

the two goons moan and cal rolls his eyes and runs out of the apartment.

Kane scowls but does what he says. “interesting choice to meet. pretty predictable.” he started rambling

uncle glen rolls his eyes and slams the door shut, he starts the engine and pulls out of the warehouse parking lot, “see you in hxll!” he cackles as he drives away.

Kane stands there like the awkward boy he is. “umm...bye. nice meeting you” he rolls his eyes

cal high jacks one of the goons’ car and trails his uncle. the goons begin to regain consciousness and wander out of the apartment building looking for their car.

Kane freezes ‘this is like the third day this has happened already’ he said under his breath. “you won’t shoot me.” he said almost baiting Daniel. he knew it was stupid as soon as it left his mouth.

cal pulls into the warehouse and can see the skid marks of his uncle’s car, he can see a black car ahead of him, he lays low hoping he can just tail the car and jump out when the coast is clear.

Kane takes another few steps back. he was never going to get Into that car. at least not if he could help it. “boy! I said get it!” Daniels voice raised as he cocked the gun. “no...fxcking..way” Kane turned to run. he knew it was stupid but he didn’t have any other choice. the bullet only grazed his arm but it still felt like hełł. Kane collapsed under the pain and eventually lost consciousness. Daniel hopped out of the car, throwing the gun in the seat. he lifted Kane up and dragged him tossing him in the back not caring if he gripped Kane’s wound.

Daniel threw open Cals door and pulled him out by the collar. He held him up by his shirt and was getting ready to beat him

Kane slowly gained consciousness and gripped his arm as he looked out the car window

cal puts his hands upon the air and smiles goofily, “hey man lets be rationallllll”

Daniel is a crazy sociopath. rational isn’t his thing.// Kane stumbled out of the car cursing under his breath all the while. he tried not to be loud about it and somehow made it behind Daniel without him noticing.//Daniel raised his arm and punched cal in the stomach// Kane rugged at Daniels shoulder and as he turned around he sent his fist flying into his face

cal slumped to the ground in pain with the wind knocked out of him. he managed to reach into his pocket and pull out his gun, “l-lay anoth-ther hand on h-him and i k-kill you.”

Kane leaned over Daniel who now laid on the ground. “son of a bxtch..!” he kicked him in the stomach and hit him in his face. “stay the hełł away from cal!!”

cal coughed, still holding the gun shakily in his hands, “kane i-i dont deserve this..”

Kane dropped Daniel and turned to look at cal “what are you talking about?! You shouldn’t be here! I’m the reason Daniel came into your life and messed it up!! this is my fault so let me take care of it...”

“i knew him before all this shtt started, isn’t that right? number one customer.” he holds the gun up at daniel again, stronger now.

Daniel blinks and looks at Cal through the blood that now covered his face. “...”

cal stands over daniel his foot on his face, “you can end this whole charade now or i shout you to smithereens.”

Daniel grimaces “Get off me!” he didn’t take into consideration what cal had just said

“what are you talking about? what’s going on cal?” kane asked very confused

cal presses daniel’s head into the grounder harder, “kane i’ll explain later, just see if you can start the car..”

Kane walked over to the car then turned and yelled back “He has the keys on him! search his pockets”

cal glares at daniel as he aggressively looks through his pockets.

Daniel mutters something before bitting back the rest of his words.

cal kneels down and presses the gun against daniel’s face, “any last words? because kane and i won’t be seeing your shtt bag face ever again.” he tosses the keys to kane without looking away from daniel.

Kane grabs the keys and within seconds starts the engine.// “don’t miss me too much while I’m gone” Daniels face twisted into a horrifying smirk

“your lucky i have enough heart to leave you with your breath,” cal stands up and shoots daniel in the thigh. he walks into the passenger seat of the car silently and motions for kane to start the car.

Daniel cries out in agony and all that fun stuff// Kane does as he’s told and puts the stick in drive. “where to”

“my house.” cal drums a beat on the dashboard awkwardly.

Kane turns to look at him “you realize I have zero idea of where that is”

Kane started the car and drove to that one location. “alright....”

cal gets out, “if i’m not back in five i’m either dead or grabbing a snack.” he slams the car door shut and walks into his house.

“geez thanks for the heads up” he rolls his eyes and turns on the radio resting his feet on the dash

from the house anyone walking past would here laughter, than screaming, a gun shot and quick footsteps. some light yelling and a fridge door opening. a boy would step out from the house a little blood on him and a back of chips in his hand. the boy checks his watch, 4 and a half minutes he thinks to himself. the boy opens the passenger door of the car in front of the house. ——— idk why i wrote that so weird.

“well i shot his arm, and then he said some stuff and i said some stuff than he chased me and i threw the gun at him, which bounced into the toilet.” he laughs, “let’s just say he won’t be bothering us anymore.”

“sounds good to me” he smiled then started the car. he forgot about his arm and grimaced as he reached for the wheel. “on second thought....would you mind driving?” he smiled

cal leaned over and kissed kane longer than usual, he pulled back with a smile and stepped out of the car and got into the drivers seat, “we’ll get you all patched up at home.”

Kane slid over the console in the middle of the seats hopping to the passengers. “can’t wait” He joked. “it’ll be nice to be home without people interrupting” he smirked

cal laughs, “i cant wait,” he pulls out of the parallel parking spot and drives them to the apartment complex.

Kane gets out of the car and heads up the stairs, opening the door to a surprisingly happy Kale

cal smiles and bends down to pet kale, “what a cutie! who’s a good boy!” he turns to kane, “let’s get you patched up and clean the apartment up.” he looks around at the broken down door and the rummaged through drawers and cabinets.

Kane scrunches his nose as he looks around. “this place looks like sh**”.

“I think I have some bandages in the bathroom” kane disappeared for a second

cal stands up and kisses kane putting his arms gingerly around kane’s waist, “don’t worry kane i’ll take care of your apartment, just take a shower and i’ll get you patched up in a bit.”
