man, was today eventful. today was our last band concert (& the 8th graders last one @ the school) and it was so hot it the gym that i almost passed out. during the FIRST PIECE. i was also running on like... no food. so there's that

then, i got acknowledged for making all-district. i was the first in the school's history to make it (??) so my teacher got super emotional. and then i got emo. cool

and THEN, i had to introduce a piece, because i got volunteered. (not my choice.) i was shaking so much, everyone saw it. at least my voice was clear ig

AND ALSO this girl just........ left? in the middle of the performance???? dk

and the oboe BROKE HIS INSTRUMENT???? he had a solo and i was the only accompaniment so i had to play it. by myself. the gross open-note solo accompaniment

also it took an hour and a half for us to even perform

BUT!!!!! we played really good and i am glad about that. i feel good about our competition tmr
