I'm not very good at dealing with anxiety myself but if it helps at all try breathing in as the shape expands and breathing out as it closes

That's understandable, I tend to get scared by simple thunderstorms so I mean I can't say that I know how you feel but if it helps take any precaution to stay safe during the storm
