so, on the left, I'm wearing a dress from the clothing store Aeropostale, which is really trendy for girls my age. the dress is actually backless, and then I'm wearing a padded, underwire bra (A cup and too big on me lol) and this hat that it's sorta feminine.(?) Do I think I look good? Yeah, besides my fatness. I can't say I'm 100% comfortable dressing this way though. I look cute, but it's not me.
on the right, I'm wearing a men's shirt from Aeropostale (it's too big on me, as it was the first thing I bought from men's, so I was kinda hyperventilating and bought the first one that looked long enough.) then I'm wearing a baseball cap and long shorts. Do I think I look good? hêllz yeah! I am more comfortable wearing these kinds of clothes. I also binded my chest (?) even though I didn't actually need to, but I wanted to get rid of the fullness. basically I wore some fabric thing my mom got when she had a procedure done on her breast. it's purple and flowery, but it is actually a binder.
why did I do this? I don't know? maybe it's something for me?? I thought it would be interesting to showcase both stereotypes on a female. am I gender fluid? probably not. trans? not likely. non-binary? maybe? I'm not sure what I am exactly.
okay yeah you can comment now. I may take this down bc I'm so ew.
don't compliment me here. write down opinions.
I think a boy or a girl can wear what ever they want without being called a "fàggot, slút" ect. I think if u should feel comfortable in what ur wearing without being called and bùllied
⬆️⬆️AGREED!!!!!!⬆️⬆️
I know you told us not to and you might hate me for this😔 but I have to say it... YOU ARE SO PRETTY!!!!!!!🤗🤗🤗🤗
this is a great comparison, tbh gender roles are stupid you should wear what you want. whatever feels comfortable on you, wear it. if you want to dress up as a "girl" than dress up like a "girl" and if you wanna dress up like a "boy" dress up like a "boy" bc personally I believe that you can wear whatever you want bc gender roles are just part of society's idea of perfection.
gender roles suck.
we should just let our kids dress as comfortably as they want, because it's their bodies and their choice. don't force them into wearing something that they don't feel comfortable in. your appearance is also factored by your confidence in what you're wearing.
I have to say this, you are not fat!
like girls have to look all šęxÿ and šłūttÿ and always ask for šęx um no. I am not desperate for a boy or anything I like girls more than boys like seriously. they expect us to be skinny and have eating disorders? all the girls in my school weigh under 100 pounds and I weigh over 100 pounds like WAYYY OVER
Gender rolls are the worst kind of bread. So where whatever you feel most comfortable in. It doesn't matter what others think of what clothes you have on. All that matters is that you are comfortable and happy.
*wear why did I say where...?
Where whatever you like, because damñ Elle you lookin' fabulous either way. Stereotypes don't matter when it comes to what makes you feel good in your own skin.
@__unicorn__ I saID WHERE TOO WTH
