Michael woke up yawning. He stretched in bed and this time he carefully got out. He made the bed, grabbed Laura’s gift and made sure everything was there safely. He put it back under his bed. He got a shower and then got changed. Laura, was up at six AM and had already gotten dressed and showered and was sipping a banana smoothie.
Kendall, Skylar, what’s his face just woke up and they drank their smoothies outside because why not
Calla had moved in with Clara since she was Clara’s cousin. Clara was sleeping late. She’d told Calla not to wake her up until 10. Calla was drinking a choco mocha frappe and was counting down the minutes. Finally it was 9:59. She counted down, then when it was 10 she walked over to Clara and shook her. Clara groaned. Calla shook her again. Clara finally got up after Calla jumped on her bed and pushed her off.
Laura wanted to walk outside for a bit. She saw everyone with their smoothies. “Good morning!” She said, jogging over to them.
Tomas and Emilia arrived.
“Good morning,” Kendall said as Chase gave her three presents from the each of them. Do I know what’s in them...no?

Brittany woke up early and was vlogging. “I’m just about to finish my makeup and then we’re going homecoming dance shopping!” she said and then finished her makeup. She stopped recording and then started recording again when Clara, Calla, and Brittany were in the car. “We’re on our way to Sara’s with Clara and Calla. Calla is Clara’s cousin, and she’s so fun!” Brittany said. Calla popped into the screen and waved since she was in the backseat and Clara was driving. They finally got to Sara’s and Brittany continued vlogging. “Here we are! I can’t wait to see what they have in stock. All their dresses are always soooo gorgeous!” she said.

Michael started walking downstairs with his pencil and paper. He started sketching some trees and a lake.

Michael saw Laura’s figure through the window and grabbed his present for her. “HI MY LIL SEVENTEEN YEAR OLD CORN!” He screamed
Laura handed him her present and he handed her his. (confusion)

Gwen rolled out of bed, quickly got dressed and made her way to the kitchen. Still half asleep she made a smoothie and sat down at the counter.
McKenna wasn’t sure if she was going to homecoming yet. She had a dress and stuff, but she didn’t know that many people. She sighed and flopped on her bed.

I come back from the beach, and go to the gymnasium. “It’s way to early in the morning.” I laugh.
“True, I wanna go back to sleep” Nathan said with a laugh. He fingered his bracelet, recalling his nightmare, he shuddered.
“Nathan, can you help me put up these streamers over there.” I say and point.
Emilia and Tomas started chatting to each other about random stuff.

Laura walks over to Emmy. “Hey!”
"Hi!" Emilia grins. "Present!" she thrusts her little box into Laura's hands, and Tomas waits with his.

I go over with my crutches and take some streamers out.
Laura sees Jordan. “You ok?” She falls

"It's a locket!" Emilia grinned. It was a small, about 3 centimetres, teardrop shaped charm hanging on a tiny silver chain that could run through hands like water.
“Aww thanks!” Laura said. She knew exactly what pictures she would put in there. “It’s so nice!” Laura said, putting it on.
McKenna walked outside and found a nice bench to sit on. Yup. She sighed and thought about wether or not she should go to Homecoming.
Tomas handed her his present. "Here," he smiled.
Laura took it gratefully and opened it. (jus tell me what it is lol)

"It's a coloured glass bottle, shaped like a coconut, with a plastic straw," he explained.
“Yeah you know me. I always break myself one way or another.” I say and laugh. These crutches will be the death of me I swear, I think.
“It’s so cute!” She said, smiling. “Thanks Guys.”
Laura laughed. “I manage to fall but don’t break anything..so that’s good.”
Suddenly, McKenna stood up. “You’re going to homecoming, wether you like it or not,” she said to herself.
“You guys going to homecoming?” She asked

“I got my foot stuck between two rocks in the ocean, while trying to get Nathan’s board unstuck.” I laugh. “I guess I didn’t do too well.”

McKenna suddenly remembered that she had gotten something for the twins. She rushed to find them.
“Yeah,” I say and put my crutch up against a wall, jump-using It as support- and get the streamer hanging perfectly using the metal.
Michael sat on a bench
McKenna saw Micheal and ran up to him. “Hi,” she said and smiled.
“Happy birthday!” she said happily. “Here, I got you this...” she said and handed Micheal a box. (it’s an oil pastels set thing)
“Thank you so much!” He said. “Yeah.” Laura said
Emilia's phone started buzzing. "Oh, Tomas, it's Tabby. Let's take this call, c'mon!"
"Uh, bye!" Laura laughed
“It’s no big deal,” McKenna said and shrugged. “If you see your sister, can you give this to her?” She handed him a smaller box. (it’s a bracelet with a quote on it and a ring)
Michael took it. “Sure! Thanks.” He smiled

McKenna walked to her dorm. She almost called her mom, but realized that wouldn’t be a very good idea.
Sam could care less about homecoming, she had a dress but dreaded to wear it. She decided to wear a formal shirt and pant.

“I’ve never broken a bone before, until this year.” I look at Nathan.

“Yes, please.” Sam texted back, “I need a nice shirt & pant - no dress.”
Nathan looked at her weirdly, “you must not be clumsy like me”
McKenna walked up to Halle and sat down. “Hey,” she said.
“I learned early what happened it I fell or tripped.” I look the other way somberly.
“No, I’m McKenna,” she said. “And you are...?”

Tomas and Emilia decided to practise the dance for their dad's birthday at the beach.

“I’m gonna go outside and take a walk.” I grab my crutches and go through the gymnasium doors.
“okay” Nathan said as he placed the streamers where they belonged, he then sat down.
The three amigos walked around alone
Laura walked up to them. “Hi I’m bored!” She said
Hadley squealed in excitement. "HOMECOMING!" She had always loved the thought of a school dance. (approachable)

“Hi! Me too!” Kendall said Skylar and Chase kept walking around if ppl want to talk to them
Emilia and Tomas continued their dance at the beach. They'd been practising since they arrived, and everyone probably thought they were weirdos, but oh well.
I walk along a trail, and go into the garden, and lay on my back. “When will this day end?” I unlatch the Velcro from my brace and pull my foot out, it’s blue, and purple.
"Did my brother ask you to homecoming?” Laura asked her.
