I know what day today is

I don't know what the big deal about 9/11 is, I know thousands died and the twin towers were tall and all and it was tragic as heck, but everyone on the whole dang planet is saluting America

Maybe if I was there and a parent had died in it or something I would see how awful it is

yeah, but why only America? if it happened in Japan or England I bet there wouldn't be a day like today
