When did you hear about the Warriors series and Erin Hunter

Fourth grade. I went to the library help section and asked for animal adventure books. the woman lead me to to Warriors/Survivors/Seekers section, and I chose the first Survivors book. I finished that series and thought "Huh. I liked that. I'm gonna read Warriors now." And here we are.
