She wore gloves on her hands even though she could control her powers, it was just a precaution. // Lyric didn’t know how this was going to go but she stuffed some lucky charms in her mouth and walked into her element dorm.

Josh slowly pulled into the school parking lot, pulling his bag out of the backseat. he walked to the school, wary to keep his eyes down and get to his dorm quickly

Josh put in his earbuds and continued down the brightly lit hall. he seemed to be early, as not many people wandered the halls yet. it worked for him.

Well since Kaila had travel miles and miles by swimming to this place, she was just dumped off on the front step by the ocean. Thank you ocean. She opened the doors inside the school feeling pleased by it. She spent her whole life training side by side with water folks not other folks.

Joshua walked upstairs, skipping two at a time like a rebel. lookin down at his school layout map he walked down until he reached the commons that branches off into dorms. he set his stuff down on a couch and pulled out his phone, waiting to be sorted into a dorm.

thea wasn’t looking where she was going, so she bumped into lyric. “yOiKes, i’m so sorry...” she said. // leo tripped over a trashcan.

Vereena and Henry walked into the school together. Vereena was wearing her hat to cover her face, i mean she didn’t want anyone to recognize her- well recognize her parents...Henry was walking with her hands in his pockets. Henry was just feeling quiet....

Kaila walked up to the commons and fiddled with her choker and her necklace- both had very significant meaning to her. She then plopped down in a seat.

Malia walked in after markus and watched him run into the wall. she scrunched up her nose, “You alright?”

Josh wrinkled his nose and sneezed, causing him to forcefully shoot backwards into a wall. he cursed quietly and wiped himself off before studying the damage. the drywall had been crushed in and his back ached, otherwise nothing was wrong.

Well Lyric was sOmeWheRe in the middle of the school eating lucky charms like a pro and waiting for instructions. She played with the drinking fountain and made the water shoot up and then randomly stop.

Kaila landed in large lake of water, confident for her. She swam up to find this weird structure that was divided into four parts, each a different color. “Leo?” Kaila called out.

Josh shrugged. “I’ll..get over it” he said forcefully, still rubbing his wrists. he eventually stopped and climbed down slowly, this time heading farther into the less kept up parts of the gardens

Kaila turned her head in Leo’s direction, “I’m not sure...” she called back, trailing off quickly. There were podiums, each holding a gem that’s color represented the element. Kaila walked up to the first gem, the Earth gem, but she was quickly pushed backwards.

Joshua walked for a while, then remembered the echoed voice from the school, and it’s morbid warning. he shuddered and started to limp back, but he couldn’t remember which way he had gone. he was lost.

Joshua started to panic, and the winds noticeably picked up. he started running down any path he could in hopes to reach the school.

Kaila dusted herself off and walked over to the water gem. “I have no idea,” Kaila said quietly. Water started to form around her hand as she placed it just above the gem, the gem started to glow.

Josh closed his eyes tightly as he felt the water move and suddenly—he was free. he cautiously opened his eyes and he was somewhere completely new, complete with four structures with gems. he waved weakly.

Kaila stood by the map, "Josh?" she said, leaning her body to view the alley. No response. Suddenly, Kaila heard a voice, it was calling to her- no, it was calling for her. The tattoo on kaila's arm started to glow as a trident materialized in her hand. The voice still rang, but one moment she was there, and the next- the next she was gone.

Cecille appeared and collapsed, clutching her leg. It was glowing and her veins were bright gold. Sharp pains shot up her leg in pulses, and she rubbed her leg until it stopped. Then, she stood up and walked to her dorm. She was probably going to be alone, as there was an odd amount of girls.

Elliot appeared and felt a pain in his collarbone. It flowed and his veins turned gold. He rolled his head around until the pulses dimmed and looked around. He was in a forest, but in front of him, about a quarter mile, he saw the trees stop and a freshly mowed lawn start. He saw marble pillars and then a huge building. He took off running before shooting air from his hands and feet and flying through the forest.

Elliot reached the building and felt a shock. He slapped his collarbone and sighed. Then he walked like a normal person inside.

Cecille walked into her dorm and saw three beds. She picked the one near the window and flopped onto it. It was cushy. She used her air powers to unpack and open the drawers of her dresser. Once she got to the bottom of her suitcase she saw the last item: a small wooden. She hesitated before picking it up. She opened it and made sure the contents were still there before (very originally) sliding it under her bed. She then slid her suitcase under the bed on the other side. She then made her bed and lay down, looking out the giant window that was one entire wall.

Elliot stopped walking when he got inside, and accidentally let Ryan bump into him. “Oh, sorry,” Elliot said:

“Elliot,” he said, sticking out his hand accidentally sending s gust of wind that sent Ryan flying backward. “Oh my gosh I’m so sorry,” Elliot said covering his mouth and running over.

“Yeah... oh, hello milady,” Elliot said and bowed. He then laughed as he helped Ryan up.

Joshua limped to who knows where, pleasing silently for help, or for someone to miraculously find him. his throat was extremely sore, and talking was a large effort, and probably would be for a while.

*fast forward who knows how long* Josh gasps. the school was in sight, only a few minors away. *fast forward 2 hrs* he slowly stumbled up the steps and into the school. it didn’t seem like anyone was up at this late hour, but he could be mistaken. he limped to the bathrooms and attempted to clean himself up.

“You... you don’t believe me? Fine! I’ll just let her kill you, too, then!” Elliot said and flew off without Ryan.

Joshua winced as he heard a loud door bang. apparently someone was up. peeling off his Dora bandaid, he inspected his wound from the thorn bracelet. it didn’t look infected, but he would need a new bandaid. he mentally noted to get one later.

For about the same time period, Kaila found her away out of that crazy place. She thought it was best if she just went and healed her wound, she entered the bathroom.

Vereena just looks at Mia as she walks away. she just looks at her in anger. Vereena says “just forget what i said...” Vereena ran off...

Elliot circled back to the secret location. He found Aria asleep. “Aria...” he said.

Elliot let himself enter Aria’s dream. “Aria?”

“W—why?” Elliot asked. “Why would you do all those things?” he said in the dream world.

Joshua walk limped to the ward office and grabbed a new bandaid, wrapping it quickly around his arm and walking back out. he internally groaned. he still hadn’t set up his dorm. he grimaced and prepared himself to walk of the steps.

Kaila entered her dorm and looked at her wound. It was a deep gash from who knows what, but she conjured up some water and let it soothe and heal her wound. This was going to take a while.

“Why?”

“Just tell me why you did them? I can see memories, I can’t see feelings or thoughts.”

Vereena was in some old library at the school and was looking through old newspapers and searching on the computer.

Josh finally made it up the steps and decided it wasnt worth it to go through extra effort and set up his dorm, so he just set cal in the dorm commons. taking over a couch, he pulled out whatever he needed and laid down with a sigh. he then conjured one of the limited things he could do, a purified air barrier to hopefully promote healing.

Josh rolled off the couch. staying still felt terrible. the perks of being ADHD. He walked around to find an elevator and simplify things although it was unlikely

Kaila constructed a hand on water and kept one hand over wound. The water hand was already hard at working setting up Kaila's room, but it took a lot of concetration

Cecille sat on her bed hidden in the pillows and watched Kaila set up her dorm side.

Elliot focused on the calm and managed to make Aria’s dream calm again.

“If you told me I could help you.”

Kaila created more water hands and finished setting up her room and then she moved on to healing her forehead.

Joshua sat silently in an elevator. cross cross apple sauce just like his kindergarten teacher had taught him.

Elliot blinked away a tear and walked over to Aria. He peeled off the tape. “I guess I have to let you g—“ he said before choking and feeling a sharp pain in his head. He couldn’t breathe and he fell on the ground, squirming. Then he lay still.

Elliot drifted off and everything went white. His powers were too powerful. Because he tried to have sympathy toward Aria, he had put his life in danger, and lost it.

Joshua saluted her. “greetings. welcome to the elevator of insomnia, we hope you have a terrible night” he said pleasantly

Cecille looked up at Kaila. “Elliot is my twin. I think... I think...” she couldn’t bear to say it.

Joshua shrugged and threw his cucumber in the air, letting it join the floating cupcake. “hey actually” he said he grabbed a long thingy and pulled down the cupcake. and bit into it. “not bad” he remarked

“I’m right here, sis,” came a voice behind Cecille. She stood up and spun around. A warm familiar face greeted her. “Elliot!” She said and wrapped her arms around him. “I thought I lost you.” Then her arms lowered and she opened her eyes again. He was gone. “E—Elliot...?”

“No! He was right here! He was right he—“ Cecille said and cried some more.

Kaila looked around, she couldn't see any person. Even though Kaila wouldn't normally do this, she gave Cecille a quick hug. "Does he go here? To this school?" Kaila asked.

yAy // Malia was at the school early and she sat by the fire. Her gloves were actually off for once since she was alone and they were laid next to her on the floor // Lyric was walking up to the school with her bulky jansport resting on one shoulder. She was eating lucky charms in a bowl on her way to the school.

Lyric ran into the commons and accidentally sprayed water everywhere before yelling, “ITS TIME TO START THE DAY.” from BMC. Her bowl slipped out of her hand and crashed into the ground. “wHooPs” // Malia heard the crash and yell and sighed, knowing there were other people here now. She put on her gloves and went into the commons before slipping on the sPiLt miLk.

Kaila was in the training room, practicing her powers against a simulator. She created a large gust of water which knocked all the simulations out and then, she froze all the simulations into a chunk of ice. The ice became water once more, only allowing Kaila to create a whip of water as she smacked all of the simulations again. One of them snuck behind her, but she constructed a sword from water and stabbed the person before proceeding to whip them as well. Multiple more simulations came at her from all directions as she utilized the water whip in some combos involving some of martial art skills as well.

Lyric stopped singing BMC and looked down at Malia and pursed her lips, “oOf- my bad.” she mumbled. // Malia pulled herself up and tucked her hands into her pockets.

Lyric didn’t do anything, she just kinda starred at her broken cereal bowl. Her cereal was the love of her life and it was gone. Her eyes started tearing up. ( I like the idea of shipping lyric and her cereal ) // Malia took a couple of the paper towels and wiped the milk off of her and then started to clean up the water on the floor.

Kaila was busy being choked from the back. She quickly flipped it over her shoulder and froze the simulation. She then did a jump spin kick while harnessing her water and knocked over three simulations. “Hai- I’m just training,” she said, kicking one in the head.

Lyric wiped her eyes and nodded, “yEs bUt mY cErEaL...” she cried before heading into the kitchen to get more cereal. She saw Mia and waved, “hOLA peRsOn.” // Malia nodded and looked at the clean floor then at her clothes, “yEs the floor is clean.” she said, brushing off her clothes.

Lyric nodded, “Got it...” she said, cringing at Mia throwing up. She took a step back and sat on top of the table. // Malia nodded, “Yeah at the dorm.” she said with a sigh. She took off one of her gloves and a little spark of a flame popped up. She tried her best to dry off her clothes.

“Oh-“ Kaila paused momentarily, “Thanks.” she smiled, “But that was honestly nothing. I’ve grown up around people who have hydrokinesis all my life and my dad used to always wake me up super early to train,” she said, as the simulator turned off and she exited.

Malia frowned and put her glove back on. She glanced up at him and then down at the gloves as she tightened them. “It makes me feel less nervous of harming someone.” she said. “I don’t like talking about it though.
